ASC Director of Nursing (South Carolina)
We’re hiring a Tenured Director of Nursing (DON) for our very busy 6 Room, Multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) that performs 600 cases a month in the following specialties: Orthopedics, Spine, GI, Total Joints, and Pain.
As part of the key management team, this DON will manage 2 Charge Nurses, about 20 FTEs, and will oversee all the daily clinical operations, policies and procedures, and AAAHC accreditation standards. This DON will also be responsible for performing staff evaluations and reviews, creating staff schedules, handling staff education, and ensuring the Surgery Center complies with State, Federal, and AAAHC standards.
Our prestigious Surgery Center is located in an upscale suburb of the Charleston area.
TO BE CONSIDERED, CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
- Valid Registered Nursing (RN) license
- Minimum 3 years of Nurse Management Experience
- Experience in the Operating Room (OR) is strongly preferred!
